WHAT WE NEED_**

We’re looking for **Freelance Customer Support Assistants** to join our team and help guide our collectors through their Avant Arte journey, addressing any issues and offering helpful advice to potential buyers.This position is on a freelance variable basis, intended to support our team during peak periods when we experience a higher volume of customer support queries and need all hands on deck. The role will be primarily based at our Abcoude Warehouse location. Anticipated approximately 15 hours per week during peak periods.

You must be registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) with a valid tax registration number. The position starts at** [€17] **per hour excluding VAT, depending on experience. Daily free lunch is provided.

We really do encourage everyone to proactively step outside of their job description if they see something that could be improved but the core of your role will involve:

- Managing customer complaints and driving issue resolution within expected timeframes.
- Using the Avant Arte tone of voice to provide exceptional service from first contact.
- Documenting clear and concise notes within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure smooth follow-up by other teams or in future cases.
- Handing over collectors to the relevant sales advisors or resolving their queries swiftly and effectively.
- Ensuring clear communication between the sales team and the supply chain, escalating issues when necessary.

- Exceptional customer service skills with a customer-first mindset, advocating for a positive collector experience throughout the purchasing journey.
- Ability to tailor and adapt communication to the situation, with great written English skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills while managing multiple tasks.
- Flexible and proactive, always seeking ways to improve the customer experience.
- Problem-solving mentality, eager to support our collectors in any way possible.
- Ability to work at pace, responding quickly and efficiently to resolve customer issues.
- Team-oriented, with a proven ability to communicate clearly and directly with other departments.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Digitally savvy and commercially focused, understanding the balance between delivering an exceptional customer experience and meeting business requirements.

**We think you’ll probably have**:

- Some experience in providing customer service in an online environment.
- Experience managing multiple tasks under tight timelines.
- Experience working across different departments.
- Great written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are always desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with CRM and order management software, such as HubSpot, Shopify, or similar systems, is preferred.
