We are looking for a Commercial Pricing Manager EMEA for Stolt Tank Containers (STC).
Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk
- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots. **What you will be doin**g**
You will be the commercial team’s sparring partner and have a strong influence on how the business can produce the best commercial results for STC. Through analysis and discussion, you have a highly visible role in ensuring commercial success and delivering the best service/price combination.
An ideal Pricing Manager is someone who has an affinity with data and does not shy away from drawing conclusions from various data sets, whilst at the same time understanding that our relationships with our customers are not one-sided or transactional. Knowing how to motivate, challenge and spar with various commercial teams will be vital to the success of the role, whilst also being able to confidently present and explain to senior management.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define the regional pricing strategy in line with STCs overall commercial and pricing strategy.
- Analyze and optimize the regional customer and trade mix in line with STCs overall strategy (trade & customer portfolio mix / allocation).
- Monitor the market and identify opportunities for growth across customer segments, trades, and markets.
- Maximize revenue (yield management) based on level of demand and customers’ willingness.
- Assist in developing new tools & enhancements to further automate, digitize and optimize the quoting, pricing, budget, forecasting and other programs.Lead the process of setting STC’s regional shipment budget including shipments, transportation revenue and direct operating costs.
- **Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar.
- Minimal 10 years of work experience within the logistics industry.
- Minimal 5 years of commercial / pricing management experience in a logistics environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to interpret data (Excel is a must, Power BI preferred).
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
