Short Description:
The Customer Operations Agent organizes transport solutions for a defined perimeter of customers within costs and margin objectives and by maintaining the highest quality of service. He/she supports customers by providing and processing information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about new shipments. He/she is responsible for dispatching all shipments for a defined perimeter, selecting the best solution on shipment level by using the platform tools and the processes associated. The ultimate goal is to provide as from the first inquiry a positive customer experience and improve the quality of service.

Reporting to the Country Manager, the Customer Operations Agent will be in charge with the following main tasks:

- Coordinate the customer order fulfillment process by identifying, recording and maintaining all appropriate customer, product and delivery information.
- Make tailor made solutions towards new and existing customers by proposing solutions, taking Quality and pricing into account.
- Organize shipments from A to Z and ensure a high level of quality at the best price
- Strict implementation of customer process and customer requirements.
- Manage and coordinate activities of drivers and suppliers
- Be an entrepreneur and communicate to the Country Manager strategies to improve the quality of our service
- Develop and maintain long - term customer relationships by proactively managing customer expectations
- Administration after the transport to prepare invoicing
- Identify sales leads, collecting and forwarding knowledge regarding potential new customers or customer trends

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills with a customer oriented approach
- Is accurate and focused, has strong communicative capabilities, has knowledge of transportations means and all administrative processes, good selling techniques
- Solution seller
- Medium or higher education level
- 1-2 years of experience in the field of transportation planning is a plus
- Language skills both verbal and writing in Italian & English. Additional languages are definitely a plus.
- Willing to work in shifts 08:00-19:00 (Mon-Fri)
