We’re EngineeringTrainer and we are disrupting the learning market for engineers worldwide. Our Saas product is an essential business solution for technical skill-building in the energy and chemical sector and is an industry-dedicated alternative to LinkedIn Learning or Udemy for business.
Founded in 2019 we’ve met our milestones through organic growth. Now, after completing our seed-stage funding round, we are accelerating our growth with the target of dominating the market for on-demand technical training courses for engineers globally. This is the moment to join our team, and together with the founders dictate the continuing success of EngineeringTrainer.

**The Role**
This role is full-time and based in our office in Bunnik close to Utrecht in the Netherlands. Innovation and efficient decision-making are essential for our growth. We believe that collaboration in person is vital for this, meaning this role would require you to be in our office for at least 80% of the time.
As a Business Operations professional at EngineeringTrainer, you will be an energetic focal point within our team supporting us across all aspects of the business. Our business needs include generating leads for the sales team, managing online marketing campaigns, reacting to customer needs as part of our customer success team, and working closely with our instructors to manage the production of high-quality training material. Please note that we are looking for multiple colleagues in this role. Your specific skill set and development goals will determine your work split across our business needs.
As a highly self-motivated colleague, you are always ready to develop and grow your skills, while being alert to raising and implementing small but effective changes in our internal processes. This role provides the perfect way for you to learn on the job what happens in a dynamic start-up Saas company. You will contribute to the culture of EngineeringTrainer, and based on your desired growth and career trajectory this function can act as a stepping stone to a more senior role as the company grows.
Given the flat structure of EngineeringTrainer, your work will see you collaborate with all members of the executive team, including the founders, who will also take a keen interest in your development.
**Key Business Needs**
- Customer success; onboarding new customers, listening and responding to specific customer requests and support needs, collecting feedback on the EngineeringTrainer products, and reporting this customer input to guide product improvements. Together with the executive team, you will help determine the direction for the platform and course portfolio based on customer feedback.
- Marketing and Digital growth; online marketing activities, such as mailings, newsletters, social media, website optimization, and SEO, to drive digital presence and growth.
- Course Production; Collaborate with instructors and the production lead to coordinate the production of new training courses or updates to existing courses, optimize the content format, the recording and editing of the visuals, and be the contact point for our instructors.
- Course Product Management: Manage our course portfolio in the backend of the platform, and work with our IT lead to make sure available online lesson formats and features are in line with the latest requirements.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Someone who is adept at learning new skills and wants a varied work day were everyday is different.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High proficiency in the English language.
- A growth mindset, a lifelong learner, and a doer attitude.
- An energetic team player who is creative and curious.
**Interview Process**
**Step 1: Screening, **with Richard Fawcett, our operations lead (30mins video call)
**Step 2: In-depth about your skills, **with Luuk our founder and CEO (1hr video call or face-to-face)
**Step 3: Face to face Interviews, **with all members of the management team, including an assessment case (2 x 1hr face-to-face)
