Our Flight business is one of the cornerstones of the connected trip. We ought to offer the best and most convenient flights to every customer, those that start their trip by buying a flight or those that are complementing their existing journey with a flight. We will do this by having the best inventory available at the most competitive prices powering a site that solves all the difficulties of booking a flight today

A trip usually starts with a flight. The Flights team's mission is to offer a wide selection of flights, phenomenal value for money and the easiest end-to-end booking experience. We partner with our Strategic partner Etraveli Group to make our mission a reality and have ambitious joint goals over the next years.

The Flights Operations (Project) Lead is responsible for leading the end to end execution of projects and operational changes across our Volume Growth Strategic Pillar that is currently owned by the Operations Manager. The Volume Growth Strategic Pillar consists of various projects that is a high priority within the Flights department. This role requires working closely with team members in Flights, Marketing, Marketplace and our Strategic Partner Etraveli Group.

The role will report to a Business Operations Manager based in Amsterdam and as part of our newly formed Strategic Partnership Operations team.

**What you will do**:

- Be responsible for the end to end execution of specific projects within the Volume Growth Strategic Pillar from scoping, building the business case and closure of the project/initiative
- Actively manage coordination of the Volume Growth workstreams governance cycle and escalation processes
- Drive change management within the Flights department to adopt new processes and ways of working

**Key Job Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Proven project management skills
- Someone who can swiftly grasp new concepts and adapt effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- An ability to identify process improvements opportunities
- Good commercial awareness and are able to understand basics of business drivers
- This role will involve working with teams and stakeholders based in different locations (Amsterdam, Stockholm, London and Athens)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to summarize complex information in a simple manner
- Great written verbal and presentation skills

**Role Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Strong experience of project management (5+ years experience as a project manager)
- Experience of process improvements and change management
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience influencing at management level (up to Director)
- Data analysis experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with a Marketing department would be beneficial

**Additional expectations**:

- The role requires regular business travel to our Strategic partner (Sweden - Stockholm and Gothenburg or Greece -Athens) once per month
