**The team**

As Internal Communications & Engagement Expert Wholesale Banking (WB) you will be joining the new WB Netherlands Communications & Brand team. This team will oversee the Wholesale Banking internal and external communications as well as marketing, raising the profile of ING WB in the Netherlands and ensuring messages are consistent with ING’s global positioning and standards. You report into the head of IC&E and dotted into NL Wholesale Banking Business Management and will be part of a dedicated WB team coordinated by 1 dedicated Marcom professional. You will also work closely with members of the Global/EMEA WB Communications & Brand team.

**Role and responsibilities**
- As the new Internal Communications & Engagement expert for Wholesale Banking (WB) you will realise (complex) communication projects.
- You will develop plans, advise senior management of WB NL on internal communications and engagement topics and you are responsible for driving an internal communications and engagement calendar on topics key to ING’s NL Wholesale Banking strategy and purpose to position wholesale banking within NL.
- You are a great writer and are able to produce concepts and AV assets, digital approaches as well as development of internal events to engage the community. Internal communications will not only have a focus on NL but communications will be shared in the Global WB community when applicable.
- Therefor you are a collaborator, great in both English as well as Dutch both written as well as spoken word. You will be closely working with experts within in the IC&E team as well as expertises like events, marketing and PR.

**How to succeed**

- A Master preferably in Communications or Marketing communications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate -, change
- and internal/external communications in an international organization with a complex and diverse stakeholder environment
- Strong stakeholder management: contribute to the structured approach towards stakeholders including WB Management Team members, WB business management, Research etc. You are comfortable to advise also in a setting with more resistance and are not afraid to pitch your thoughts and ideas
- Sees ahead to future possibilities and translates them into breakthrough strategies. For example, provides a clear picture of the organization's vision and strategy and what the team needs to do to realize them. Develops longer-term strategies that capitalize on the organization's distinct capabilities and emerging trends in the market.
- Understands communications strategy and execution.
- Focuses on delivery through collaboration, ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose.
- Simplifies complexity and drives operational excellence.
