**ABOUT THE JOB**:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Resource Management Assistant to join our Consulting Business Line. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the success of our projects by meticulously planning and optimizing the allocation of our talented consultants. You will collaborate closely with practice managers and account teams to ensure the best possible utilization of resources, while also leveraging your analytical skills to provide valuable insights into our overall planning strategy. Reporting directly to the Delivery Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations and drive continuous improvement.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**:
- Develop and execute comprehensive resource planning strategies for consultants across all projects.
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization and project success.
- Collaborate with practice managers and account teams to align planning efforts with business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of resource planning initiatives.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide support to the Delivery Manager in managing project delivery and resource allocation.
- Forecast resources needs for hiring purposes
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Experience in resource scheduling within a consultancy, IT, or related industry. Demonstrable skills in managing multiple project timelines, resource allocation, and optimization.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software that assist in resource planning and tracking project progress.
- A background in data analysis or a role requiring significant analytical work. Experience using data analytics tools (like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) to create detailed reports and forecasts.
- Having a background in consulting, especially in a role related to business operations, strategy, or human resources, would be highly relevant.
- Understanding of the consulting business model, including how projects are structured and how consultants are typically utilized within projects.
- Capability to interpret data to make informed decisions and provide insights that support business objectives.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on anticipating and addressing resource needs.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- A problem-solving mentality with the capacity to tackle complex challenges.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
