**Responsibilities**
- Craft targeted marketing strategies for specific species, aligning with market dynamics and consumer needs. Work closely with innovation teams to drive product differentiation.
- Perform in-depth market research to capture customer behaviors and trends. Analyze competitor strategies to carve out a competitive edge.
- Lead the strategic marketing team, setting goals and fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration. Drive talent development and recruitment to build a top-tier team.
- Oversee the strategic marketing budget, ensuring resources are maximized for optimal impact. Monitor expenses and adjust strategies to meet financial targets.
- Spearhead growth initiatives, expand market share, and explore new market opportunities to boost profitability.
- Ensure alignment across various teams including product development and supply chain to integrate and execute marketing strategies effectively.
- Establish and track key performance indicators to measure success and adapt strategies as needed to achieve business goals.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in strategic marketing, particularly in product or species marketing within the animal health and nutrition industry.
- Track record in leading operating companies and/or larger sales organizations.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of motivating and managing cross-functional teams.
- Highly proficient in market research, data analysis, and financial management.
- Exceptional ability to communicate, influence, and build relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
