Big Ass Battery is rebellious and wants to do things differently; from a technology perspective but also from aesthetics point of view Have you always dreamed to design the coolest Battery Energy Storage Systems out there?

**What are you going to do as Industrial Product Designer?**
The challenge is to design our products in such a way that they stand out, are super cool and recognizable and dripping with the "BAB ID". On the other hand, your designs need to comply with the growing (safety) regulations and need to be super functional. These opposites need to attract and provide you the energy that will spark your creativity You will create and/or give facelifts to our current products. You will also design a lot of new products from scratch. Your job will focus on but is not limited to:

- Conducting user research, market analysis, and competitive analysis in order to understand the needs and preferences of the target group
- Concept Development and brainstorming where you generate innovative ideas and develop them into useful product concepts
- Manual sketching and digital illustration to communicate concepts and ideas effectively always igniting your creativity and you are not afraid to go outside of the container/box ;-)
- Creating, high quality and extremely detailed 3D renderings using software such as Blender or similar
- Maybe the occasional usage of 3D CAD software tools such as SolidWorks
- Taking into account ergonomics and Human Factors; understanding of how products are used by people, with attention to comfort, safety, and ease of use
- Together with our UI/UX Designer create groundbreaking visuals for our HMI
- Identify design challenges and develop creative solutions and find the most aesthetically pleasing and functional solution
- Interact and communicate thoroughly with different stakeholders ranging from engineering (technology) to sales & marketing

**What do we expect you will bring to Big Ass Battery?**

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

- At Bachelor degree in Industrial Product Design or a Master in Industrial Design or a similar direction
- A track record in design high-quality, innovative industrial products
- Strong proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Blender for creating product presentations, marketing materials and high-detailed renderings
- Some understanding and feeling for functionality and manufacturability; knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials to ensure products can be produced efficiently and cost-effectively
- A keen eye for detail and a well-developed sense of aesthetics to make products visually appealing but also robust
- Ability to work effectively with other designers, engineers, sales, marketers, and manufacturing engineers
- The ability to convincingly present design concepts to relevant stakeholders
- Skilled in managing design and development projects, including time management, budgeting, and coordination of different project phases
- Basic knowledge of various fields such as material sciences, engineering, and market analysis to have a holistic understanding of product development
