Mechanical Engineering Internship: Redesigning the Auxiliary Compartment

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Master's student in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering to join our team as a graduation intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a challenging project that involves redesigning the Auxiliary Compartment (ACOM) frame.
Background InformationASML's Development & Engineering (D&E) sector is responsible for the specification, design, and realization of all products in the ASML portfolio. Within the D&E sector, the Mechanical Development cluster is responsible for the definition, realization, and qualification of mechanical modules and (sub)systems within these products.
Your AssignmentThe main objective of this internship is to conduct a feasibility study on the redesigning of the ACOM frame. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating the background of the current design, updating the requirements, defining new concepts, and sketching the solution in Siemens NX.
Requirements- Master's student in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- Knowledge and interest in sheet metal design
- Skilled in 3D CAD modeling (preferably NX)
- Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
