About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scent Design Associate to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our Scent division, you will be responsible for defining and executing product development strategies that lead to differentiating consumer relevant fragrance solutions for the global fabric care market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative fragrance development strategies to drive business results.
- Connect market, customer, and consumer needs to identify, develop, and/or recommend competitive product solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to uncover challenges and opportunities and develop new fragrance solutions and capabilities.
- Manage programs with high technical content linked to fragrance technologies and ingredients and/or product base formulations.
- Ideation: stimulate teams in finding new consumer solutions and development processes.
- Consumer Insights strategy: define what to learn from consumers to gain competitive advantage and build consumer relevant solutions and value propositions.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to feed into technical/R&D briefings.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor degree, preferably in Perfumery, Science, Chemistry, or business.
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience (fragrance house or consumer goods company), in an international environment.
- Fabric Care category experience is a plus.
- Excellent olfactive capabilities; Olfactive assessment is part of the selection process.
