Job Title: Advisor Research Funding

Department: Project Development Office, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advisor Research Funding to join our team in the Project Development Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring research funding and developing new projects. You will work closely with researchers, support staff, and other departments to identify and pursue funding opportunities, develop project proposals, and manage project applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue research funding opportunities, including grants, contracts, and partnerships
  • Develop and manage project proposals, including writing, editing, and reviewing
  • Work with researchers to develop and articulate research ideas, approaches, and impact
  • Support the administrative side of project development, including budgeting, grant management, and contract negotiations
  • Contribute to the central administration of project applications, management information, and project case files

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise and experience in acquiring research funding and developing new projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with researchers, support staff, and other departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue funding opportunities
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the current and future developments in the National and European funding landscape
