As a vital member of the reception team, you will oversee and mentor the House Host team, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service and authentic hospitality throughout their journey – from the moment they make a reservation to the time they check out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for guests, contractors, and visitors
- Deliver outstanding service at every phase of the guest experience
- Actively seek opportunities to enhance revenue and occupancy rates
- Identify and promote upselling opportunities
- Train and develop the House Host Team
- Assist the Assistant General Manager in maintaining high standards for Housekeeping and Maintenance Teams
- Participate in weekend shifts as required
- Handle payments, manage cash transactions, and perform end-of-day reconciliations
- Manage reservations and inquiries through various channels, ensuring professionalism and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail, decision-making, sales acumen, influencing skills, problem-solving abilities, and time management
- Minimum of one year in a customer-focused role within the hospitality sector
