• Contributing to Medtronic's growth by making a significant impact in Acute Monitoring with a diverse portfolio of high-quality products and cost-effective solutions.

• Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that empowers our team with the skills necessary to meet customer and patient needs.

• Addressing three costly patient conditions: Respiratory Compromise, Cerebral & Somatic Compromise, and Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI).

Your Role
In this position, your primary responsibility will be to communicate the clinical benefits of our Advanced Critical Care (ACC) product line within the West-Netherlands region. Your goal is to overcome market access challenges, promote the adoption of innovative technologies, increase the use of consumables/sensors, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. The key growth areas for ACC include Respiratory Compromise and Cerebral & Somatic Compromise.

You will be tasked with selling the complete range of Advanced Critical Care products to hospitals and healthcare professionals, ensuring the quality and consistency of product and service delivery. Building strong, ethical relationships with customers will be essential to ensure the effective use of our products and to expand market penetration through clinical value selling. Collaboration with the Acute Monitoring team, Sales Account Manager, and Inside Sales team will be crucial to maximize business opportunities.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Client Engagement

• Achieving sales targets focused on growth.

• Preparing presentations, proposals, and sales agreements.

• Managing offers/tenders, addressing complaints, and overseeing back orders.

• Organizing product demonstrations and workshops.

Market Development

• Leading clinical sales initiatives within the territory, identifying prospects, and developing action plans to follow up on new leads.

• Conducting initial product demonstrations and coordinating clinical evaluations with the Clinical Application Specialist.

• Creating a target list and sales strategy/account mapping while acting as a project manager for each opportunity, engaging necessary resources as needed. Preparing documentation to activate and maintain contract services.

• Gathering insights about account activities, potential, key decision-makers, competitive landscape, and market share.

Training & Support

• Communicating new product and service opportunities, developments, and feedback from field activities to relevant company personnel.

• Coordinating with company staff to ensure the successful closure of sales.

• Providing verbal technical support and organizing regular training sessions.

• Assisting with national and international training requirements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required; a solid medical background is advantageous.

• Proven sales experience and a track record of business growth.

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of commercial experience, preferably in the medical device sector.

• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is essential.

• Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.

• Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office and modern multimedia tools, as well as CRM systems.

• A valid driving license.

• Experience in product launches, territory planning, and forecasting is a plus.
