Customer Service Support Role

Hapag-Lloyd is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused professional to join our Customer Service team as a Support Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless customs clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service and support to our clients
  • Handle customs activities, including export/import manifests, in-bond handling, and customs declarations
  • Monitor customs rejections and acceptances, and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and effective customs clearance processes
  • Stay up-to-date with changing customs regulations and requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or interest in shipping
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language and good command of English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well with common IT systems and applications
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
