About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Pipe Fabricator to join our team in Kinderdijk. As a key member of our shipbuilding project, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipe fittings and brackets with a strong emphasis on independence and quality.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Fabricate and assemble pipe fittings, valves, and other necessary components with precision and accuracy.
  • Process, grind, and degrease weld seams (burning, grinding) to ensure high-quality results.
  • Weld pipe fittings (TIG and MIG) according to applicable guidelines and industry standards.
  • Transport materials to and from the worksite safely and efficiently.
  • Report pipe fittings and components accurately and on time.
  • Identify deviations in piping materials, components, and drawings, and report to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain a clean workspace and perform regular maintenance on machines and tools.
  • Inspect (punch) and pressure test piping systems to ensure quality and safety.


Requirements:



  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a pipefitter in ship piping systems.
  • Able to work 100% independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in reading isometric sketches (drawing interpretation).
  • Possession of a valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
