The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Proposal Engineer to join our team in Gorinchem. As a Design and Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and refining ship designs to meet customer requirements, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine ship designs to meet customer requirements, taking into account regulatory standards and cost constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to ensure seamless design and production processes.
- Optimize ship designs to reduce costs and improve performance, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
- Support the marketing department by providing technical information and materials for promotional purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Shipbuilding or a related field.
- Proven experience in engineering and design, preferably in the shipbuilding industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
