Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy to attract, retain, and engage top talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic communication approach to match the corporate and HR goals of Damen Shipyards
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to identify employee drivers and develop targeted recruitment strategies
  • Create relevant content, such as job postings, social media posts, and banners, to showcase our employer brand
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand, following our EVP, to communicate as OneDamen across the global organization
  • Set up online campaigns in collaboration with the marketing department, including SEO and SEA initiatives
  • Develop initiatives to increase employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of our employer brand communication initiatives and adjust accordingly
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, marketing communications, or a related field
  • Experience in campaign execution, including social media and online channels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Passion for storytelling and branding
  • Knowledge of modern communication techniques and relevant computer skills
  • Creative, pragmatic, and proactive approach
  • Good organizational skills and a natural networking talent
