Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Arrow ECS Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth for our strategic vendors, including Pure Storage, Citrix, Nvidia, and Supermicro.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing targeted sales strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Collaborating with our sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams to ensure seamless execution of sales activities and maximize sales performance.
- Communicating effectively with senior management, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive business results.
- Managing sales activities, sharing knowledge, and visiting customers to drive sales growth and expand our customer base.
- Setting up and managing recruitment and enablement campaigns using marketing and vendor programs to drive business growth and expand our customer base.
- Evaluating the portfolio and approach of our resellers and providing guidance to help them improve their pitch and results using vendor sales books and other vendor tools.
- Developing and implementing education and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our customers and partners.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in sales and/or business development in the IT sector, with a relevant degree.
- Knowledge of new technology products and solutions, as well as an understanding of the Dutch market and global trends and opportunities.
- Strong communication and sales skills, with the ability to cold call and acquire new clients.
- You will be native in Dutch and fluent in English.
- The ability to build and maintain new relationships with stakeholders and customers.
