About the Role:

As a Senior Project Manager at Turner & Townsend, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex projects and programs in the Industrial, Science and Technology business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage safety and quality in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Represent and maintain the relationship with clients, ensuring their objectives are met and projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often for large or complex projects.
  • Set up the Project Execution Plan with the project team(s) and create a cohesive project team, managing it to maximize team member potential.
  • Manage and supervise 3rd-party and supply-chain progress (CSA or M&E or OFCI activities).
  • Participate in design reviews as necessary.
  • Monitor project objectives, report accordingly, and intervene if necessary.
  • Ensure the correct strategy is in place to achieve project milestones.
  • Ensure the flow of information between all parties to the contract is effective and timely.
  • Lead or attend key meetings, providing progress reports, collaborating to resolve issues, and communicating impacts to stakeholders.
  • Keep the project scope under review, including impacts to budget and schedule.
  • Identify risks and predict potential delays, taking action to remedy them.
  • Perform cost analysis where required.
  • Generate new business from existing customers, write quotations, and participate in tenders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience project managing new site development, pre-construction, or construction phases of projects.
  • Successfully delivered large-scale, complex, multidisciplinary construction (CAPEX) projects for clients, preferably Data Centers.
  • University degree in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civils or closely related field.
  • Must have a 'team attitude,' be self-motivated, and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
  • Influencing skills as well as strong communication skills, allowing effective interaction with clients, contractors, management, and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage expectations, influence change, and report/update accurately on progress, drawing on strong planning and organization skills.
  • Strong understanding in areas of MEP and/or CSA disciplines.
  • Client-side or GC background is preferred.
  • International work experience or working within an international context is an advantage.
