About the Role:

The Platform Trading Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of our live partner businesses within Gated Outlet accounts and other selected marketplaces in Europe. This role requires demonstrated expertise in account management in the sporting goods industry, knowledge of eCommerce and a solid merchandising and commercial foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing the Partner Program platform proposition in Europe for respective accounts including ranging strategy, forecasting consolidation, reporting and active in-season management.
  • Defining the account strategy for current and future Partner Program accounts under your responsibility in close alignment with Pillar lead.
  • Supporting the integration of new strategic account in close collaboration with the Business development team.
  • Representing assigned accounts internally towards all functions, ensuring aligned and effective collaboration across the end-to-end Platform Trading process.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include executing the account strategy for respective Partner Program accounts under your responsibility in close alignment with Platform Trading Director.
  • Working closely with the Factory Outlet Buying & Assortment Planning teams to ensure volume forecast provision and range selection of most relevant products for Gated Outlet partners.
  • Collaborating with Wholesale Clearance teams to execute x-channel integrated strategy for defined Gated Outlet accounts.
  • Driving awareness and understanding of Partner Program Gated Outlet proposition amongst key stakeholders including Factory Outlet, Business Units, Excess Inventory Management teams.
  • Representing assigned accounts internally towards all functions, ensuring aligned and effective collaboration across the end-to-end Platform Trading process.
  • Driving in-season management and day to day operations of all live accounts under your responsibility including discount and pricing decisions.
  • Supporting business planning and financial forecasting process for live Partner Program accounts under your responsibility.
  • Identifying and chasing growth opportunities in Outlet and Clearance ecosystem through Partner Program.
  • Pro-actively managing all business KPIs linked to order fulfilment and inventory management, e.g. Availability rate, net sales, standard margin, Operating Profit, cancellations etc.
  • Partnering closely with Platform Operations and Business Development teams to facilitate the seamless set up and launch of new account business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to work in deadline driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to handle multiple tasks and business partners.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet analyses. Self-motivated and passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving business processes, and solving problems.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to participate and confidently provide quantitative and qualitative input in investment review.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present and map complex business solutions and processes (interest in technical and business eCommerce projects a must).
  • Comfortable working in an international environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA / BS in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience (demonstrated experience in merchandising eCom & retail) alongside account management, business development or finance is a key requirement.
