Naval Asset Management Tender Specialist

The Role: As a Tender Engineer Asset and Maintenance Management, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and contract designing the Integrated Asset and Maintenance Support plan for deal-winning tender packages related to the build of state-of-the-art naval vessels. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create a commercially viable proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the complete Integrated Asset and Maintenance Support tender package, including technical documents, Integrated Logistics Support specifications, and contract specifications.
  • Contribute to requirements analysis, ensuring all required specifications are drafted and understood by stakeholders.
  • Support quotation processes and evaluations within the tender team and towards suppliers.
  • Participate in discussions with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders on technical and commercial aspects.
  • Evaluate costs provided by external and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and service departments to optimize project outcomes.

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in writing deal-winning tender packages, preferably for complex manufacturing, maintenance, or shipbuilding tenders.
  • Excellent writing skills, able to deliver compelling text, figures, and calculations encompassing specific technical details.
  • A commercial mindset to deliver viable yet attractive financial forecasts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Asset and Maintenance Management, Technical and Logistics Services, or Asset Life Cycle Support.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Good references and permanent EU citizenship.
