About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Specialist to join our team at Topcon. As a key member of our EMEA office, you will be responsible for providing technical support, quality control, and product maintenance support to our customers in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via email, phone, and chat, and report issues to our headquarters in Japan.
  • Collate product quality feedback from the EMEA market and report it to our quality organization in Japan.
  • Work closely with our EMEA Service & Repair department and Operations department to provide spare parts, repair manuals, and shipment feedback.
  • Collect voice of customer feedback from the EMEA market and share it with our product planning and development teams in Japan.
  • Be the subject matter expert for geometric positioning equipment and DX applications, including 3D BIM and construction workflow management.
  • Communicate with our EMEA Professional Services team and provide support for their goal setting and KPI management.
Requirements
  • Extensive practical knowledge of geomatics techniques.
  • Geodesy, survey engineering, civil engineering, or construction engineering degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in survey applications, vertical construction, road construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Average oral and written communication skills in Japanese.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with various ICT systems, including MS Teams and Outlook.
