Regional Sales Director

About the Role
Trouw Nutrition is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our business growth in Central Asia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and executing business opportunities in the region, working closely with our local partners and sales representatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with our Export Director to set objectives, strategies, and tactics for the region, translating them into actionable business plans.
- Business Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to grow and expand existing businesses in Central Asia, aligning with set objectives and targets.
- Negotiation Leadership: Lead complex negotiations and decision-making processes to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Solutions: Identify innovative solutions to meet customer needs, maintaining long-term relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and build strong client relationships, ensuring continuity, ongoing representation, and profitability.
- Competitive Monitoring: Monitor competitive activity in the region and develop response strategies to maintain market leadership.
- Marketing Coordination: Organize customized customer seminars and coordinate targeted marketing activities to drive business growth.
Qualification and Experience
- Education: University education in Veterinary or Agriculture.
- Sales Experience: Several years of sales and account management experience, with a proven track record of business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Value Selling: Experience with value selling and designing account development strategies.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Team Player: Strong negotiation, presentation, contractual, and legal skills, with a high level of energy, engagement, and enthusiasm.
- Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of business environments and sales financials.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel internationally 50% of the time.
