About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVDC Systems Expert to join our team at Cesi Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HVDC systems solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the selection of optimal parameters for HVDC equipment through network and performance studies.
  • Define station layouts, electro-mechanical arrangements, and main equipment selection for HVDC substations.
  • Coordinate activities of junior engineers and ensure quality of supplied products during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Interact with clients to guarantee excellence of delivery and compliance with technical and economic targets.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of electrical power system fundamentals.
  • Experience with software tools for network modeling, such as PSCAD, ATP, EMTP-RV, PSSE, DigSilent, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, with knowledge of other foreign languages a plus.
  • Persistence, empathy, and excellent human relations skills for extensive customer contact.
  • Ability to operate independently and in a team.
  • Electrical Engineering degree, preferably with a major in Energy Engineering at BSc or MSc level.
  • 5+ years of experience in HVDC systems.
