About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior High Voltage Direct Current Consultant to join our team at Cesi Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HVDC systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the selection of optimal parameters for HVDC equipment through network and performance studies.
  • Define the station layout, electro-mechanical arrangement, and main equipment selection for HVDC substations.
  • Coordinate the activities of junior engineers and ensure the quality of supplied products.
  • Interact with clients and guarantee the excellence of delivery in compliance with technical and economic targets.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of electrical power system fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in software tools for network modeling, such as PSCAD, ATP, EMTP-RV, PSSE, DigSilent, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (written and verbal).
  • Ability to operate independently and in a team.
  • Electrical Engineering degree, preferably with a major in Energy Engineering at BSc or MSc level.
  • 5+ years of experience in HVDC systems.
