About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager Projects to join our team at Boskalis. As a key member of our Salvage business unit, you will play a critical role in developing and executing business opportunities, leading tender processes, and driving commercial growth.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Initiating and leading business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
  • Developing and executing tender strategies, working closely with the Operations Director and Managing Director.
  • Conducting market research, analyzing complex wreck removals, and offshore energy market calamities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Compiling bid documentation, providing input on commercial and pricing strategies, and risk management.
  • Presenting proposals to clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful project execution.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A higher vocational or academic level in Business Economics or a technical discipline.
  • Experience in project environments, tendering, and bid preparation.
  • Knowledge of salvage methods, techniques, and equipment, as well as laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel.
