About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager Projects to join our team at Boskalis. As a key member of our Salvage business unit, you will play a critical role in developing and executing business opportunities, leading tender processes, and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the salvage market
  • Lead tender processes from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business success
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement commercial strategies
  • Manage and monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to stay ahead of the competition
Requirements
  • Higher vocational or academic degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial or business development role in the maritime or salvage industry
  • Proven track record of success in business development, tendering, and project management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
