About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Duty Management Trainee to join our team at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Amsterdam Airport, Schiphol. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Managers on Duty in various operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operational departments where needed, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
  • Provide exceptional guest service, welcoming VIPs and escorting them to their rooms
  • Address guests' queries and provide information about hotel facilities and services
  • Conduct spot-checks on public areas and report any issues to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Support departmental plans and objectives, contributing to the hotel's success
  • Write reports on security-related incidents and guest or employee accidents
  • Carry out projects commissioned by the Front Office Manager, driving continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Follows a hotel school study at HBO level
  • Has experience in the hospitality industry and general knowledge of hotel operations
  • Dominates the English language, spoken and written, with knowledge of a second language an advantage
  • Can work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
  • Is a self-starter, guest-oriented, organized, stress-resistant, flexible, solution-oriented, and proactive
