About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Support Specialist to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our EMEA region, you will provide remote technical support to external and internal customers in a critical international Medical Capital Equipment environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide telephone- and email support to service requests, demonstrating technical expertise and exceptional customer service skills;
- Utilize virtual applications to support customers remotely;
- Offer second-line Technical Support outside the EMEA region to internal and external customers;
- Interact with customers via telephone and email to solve problems related to medical devices, including computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems;
- Diagnose, identify, and isolate customer problems using historical database records to evaluate and prioritize issues;
- Formulate plans of resolution to address customer problems, utilizing all available technical resources;
- Evaluate and escalate unresolved calls to appropriate support specialists or service groups, alerting management on recurring problems and patterns of problems;
- Participate in ongoing training, procedural review/development, reporting, and compliance activities;
- Support business processes by gathering information, analyzing requirements, and defining and documenting problems related to Customer Service and technical assistance center processes;
- Provide guidance and training to team members on more complicated customer issues and the implementation of short and long-term system improvements.
Requirements:
- Education level: MBO+/HBO level or equivalent, experience in technical specialization;
- Excellent English verbal and writing skills, with at least one or two additional languages required (German, French, Italian, Dutch);
- Technical background/proficiency, computer literate;
- Relevant experience in technical problem-solving environments, distribution, sales, and direct customer environments;
- A problem-solving attitude combined with liaison-focused communication skills;
- Flexible and representative, no nine-to-five attitude;
- Stress-proof in challenging situations;
- Good social and communication skills;
- Good document practices skills;
- Ambition, eagerness to improve, and drive for results.
