Group Manager EUV Illumination

As a Group Manager of the Optical Column Illumination, you will lead and manage a team of professionals, stimulating and facilitating their personal development. You will drive innovation and act as a solution provider, achieving alignment with program management on content and staffing of EUV development projects.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of ~25 FTE, coaching and instructing members, setting priorities, solving problems, and monitoring budgets.
- Owner of the development and maintenance of the illumination function, ensuring availability and adoption of best known methods, standards, and tooling.
- Facilitate an effective learning feedback cycle and manage relations with other function and competence owners in and outside ASML.
- Contribute to departmental policy and planning, including personnel, budgets, investments, resources, and methods.
- Stimulate product and customer mindset among group members at the forefront of technical development.
- Responsible for planning and allocation of people to project activities, in cooperation with departmental leaders and project managers.
- Hiring of world-class group members to excel in project and product deliverables.
- Stimulate studies via internships and coordinate joined development with 3rd parties like universities.
Technical University (Master) or PhD in Mathematics, Mechatronic Engineering, Applied Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
Relevant leadership experience as manager or senior architect in a multidisciplinary working environment.
Strong personal communicator, academic mindset with a pragmatic approach, highly motivated team player with excellent social, coordination, and communication skills.
Ability to work in an international multicultural setting, entrepreneurship, and initiative in a technically complex and dynamic environment.
Excellent/proven stakeholder management skills, not afraid to build inter-continental working relations, and relevant technical experience build-up.
