Your Role
As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will act as a key driver in transforming client requirements into customized solutions, effectively balancing their needs with technical viability.
Throughout the sales cycle, which may extend over several weeks to months, you will delve into clients' documentation and specifications. Begin by assessing their circumstances and requirements, then utilize our advanced 3D design tools to develop tailored designs that cater to their specific needs. Work closely with clients to collaboratively finalize a design for their new material handling system, which includes equipment selection, cost estimation, and persuasive proposal creation.
To secure successful bids, you will collaborate with our Sales Managers while simultaneously engaging with internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding results that surpass client expectations. These crucial stakeholders include Purchasing, Project Engineers, Detail Engineers, Field Operations, and Project Management – all of whom will depend on your expertise and coordination to ensure smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehend and apply clients' bid documents and specifications, analyzing material flows and operations. Design solutions tailored to client needs. Calculate costs and prepare quotation documents for complex projects (over €5 million). Manage multiple bids concurrently. Develop RFQ documents for suppliers; assess and evaluate suppliers' proposals. Establish and nurture relationships with clients' technical teams. Maintain oversight of quality, costs, and progress of bids. Articulate, influence, and guide sales strategies to the account team and translate those into actionable steps. Prepare and deliver presentations. Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical discipline. 3+ years of experience in the material handling sector or a related field. Exceptional communication skills. Familiarity with client networks, specifications, and solutions. Proactive in fostering relationships and taking initiative with clients. Strong decision-making capabilities, from analysis to concept development. Good organizational and presentation skills.Are You Prepared for the Challenge?

Hybrid working model. Opportunity to engage in larger projects in the future, with a current focus on mid-level projects. Main language of communication is English; proficiency in local languages is advantageous. Monthly travel within the EU may be required.
