We are seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain Development to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company. This role will be based in Europe and will be responsible for leading the Engineering and Supply Chain Development teams and associated strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize Supply Chain performance in line with our strategic agenda.
- Lead the implementation of technologies and technical capabilities to fulfill our strategic ambitions around capacity, product, packaging, sustainability, and value creation.
- Improve the quality of project management, engineering design, and execution across the European Supply Chain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering and SC initiatives with our business objectives.
- Ensure the delivery of programs and projects connected with Growth platforms, guaranteeing the required inputs and expertise from a Supply Chain perspective.
- Design and implement the right organization structure, processes, supporting systems, and teams to effectively deliver on the above.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and maintain our position within the European market.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar field.
- At least 10 or more years of work experience in the Supply Chain field, preferably within the Manufacturing Industry, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverages or similar.
- Previous experience in Program Management and/or Strategic Project Management within the Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Engineering fields.
- Consistent track record in successfully developing, implementing and delivering Engineering and Supply Chain Group Strategies.
- Leadership work experience, management of teams across borders.
- Fluency in English. Other languages such as Dutch, French, Spanish and/or Italian would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to deal and influence with all kinds of different stakeholders.
- Ability to bounce back after a disappointment or set back, big or small.
- Strong project management skills, including time management, organization, and structure.
- Ability to work under high pressure and maintain a dynamic environment.
- Team player with a focus on achieving results together with the team.
