About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Technical IT Support Specialist to ensure smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting end-user devices, operating systems, and peripherals. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, Office applications, remote access/support tools, and core infrastructure like Active Directory, DNS, SCCM, networking, and wireless is essential.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional support and troubleshooting end-user devices (desktops, laptops, printers), operating systems like Windows, MacOS, and peripherals.
  • Ensuring smooth IT service delivery through effective management of Helpdesk requests, writing and reworking report requests and data extracts, and keeping customers informed of progress.
  • Maintaining MS Server/Desktops, Office 365 Solutions, and contributing to policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Establishing a good working relationship with the business and customers, keeping up-to-date with advancements in technology, and carrying out routine systems monitoring.
  • Managing project work within the IT department, analyzing and identifying possible solutions, gathering and writing development specifications, and assessing requirements and deliverables.
  • Solving application issues, developing fixes, discussing and devising smarter solutions to system challenges, and advising business users on the effective use of applications and information technology.
  • E nsuring all work undertaken is in line with IT policies and processes standards, regularly reporting progress to the IT Service Manager, and liaising with external clients and third-party service providers as required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum MBO 4 education level and at least 1-2 years of similar experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
  • Self-motivation, a proactive approach to daily tasks, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of an effective team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in both Dutch and English, and resilience to cope with conflicting demands, prioritize duties, and work effectively under pressure.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from €45,000 to €65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
