The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Snaphunt. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for desktop and laptop issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems related to Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and other authorized software applications.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely communication with clients on issue status and resolution.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot various hardware and software components, including printers, computer hardware, and other authorized peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers to ensure optimal performance and prevent technical issues.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of IT systems, including networks, servers, audio/visual equipment, smart devices, and telecommunications.
- Work effectively in a project-based environment, requiring flexibility and teamwork to meet client needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within IT, with a strong background in desktop support.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
