Join Our Team as a Senior Optical Coating and Metallization Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Optical Coating and Metallization Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll not only work with cutting-edge technology but also contribute to the development of our processes, making a significant impact. You'll report to the Cluster Lead for Wet-Etch, Back-End, and Metal team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee metal deposition and optical coating tool and processes;
  • Optimize existing and develop new processes in the metal production area, including evaporated physical vapor deposition and rapid annealing on 4" wafers;
  • Plan and execute tests to continuously improve processes in terms of stability, yield, throughput times, and costs;
  • Define, specify, and qualify production materials and auxiliary materials;
  • Maintain and improve our SPC processes;
  • Provide technical support and coating and metallization knowledge in a wafer fab;
  • Interact with various teams, such as Test & Measurement, Back-End, and Operations;
Requirements:
  • PhD or Master's degree in Material Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field;
  • 10 years of practical experience in semiconductor technology and industrial manufacturing;
  • Deep knowledge of metallization and/or optical coatings processes;
  • Experience with PVD and optical coating processes, as well as handling coating systems and vacuum technology;
  • Experience with working on metallization tools;
  • Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Software);
  • Proven experience with improving processes and using statistical tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, DoE);
  • Bias for Action and Ownership – you roll up your sleeves and get the job done;
  • Good communication skills in English;
