Technical Support Engineer

Acronis is a global leader in cyber protection, empowering individuals and businesses with cutting-edge technology to safeguard their data and digital lives. We're seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our mission in creating a secure and resilient digital future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support to customers, resolving complex issues and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Analyze customer issues, define resolution plans, and implement fixes to ensure minimal downtime and data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, best practices guides, and other documentation to support technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements:
  • Fluent German and English language skills (oral and written, Upper Intermediate level minimum).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively.
  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant industry and role (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and customer focus skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with passion for troubleshooting and finding efficient solutions.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting, Windows administration, and Linux administration (desirable).
  • Knowledge of business applications, such as MS Exchange, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, Citrix XenApp, and NTP servers (desirable).
