Director of International Technical Operations

We are one of the leading hotel operating companies in Central Europe, managing over 180 hotels across various locations. Our main focus is on acquiring and operating hotel properties, which requires close collaboration with strong partners such as Accor Hotels, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Dorint Hotels & Resorts, Lindner Hotels & Resorts, and H World International.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of multiple international hotel properties. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all technical standards are met, maintain facility efficiency, and manage large-scale renovation and maintenance projects. You will work closely with hotel managers and technical teams on-site to guarantee the consistent quality and safety of all technical operations.

  • You will manage technical operations and maintenance across multiple international locations, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards.
  • You will lead and support local technical teams, providing guidance in facility maintenance, energy management, and emergency protocols.
  • You will plan, implement, and monitor renovation and maintenance projects, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met.
  • You will conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and to ensure the highest operational standards.
  • You will collaborate with hotel managers and other departments to ensure technical support aligns with operational needs and guest satisfaction goals.
  • You will develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and systems to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • You will analyze and optimize energy consumption across all properties to support environmental and cost-efficiency goals.
  • You will establish and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance.
  • You will provide regular reports and updates to senior management on technical performance, project progress, and any compliance issues.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in technical management or engineering, ideally in the hospitality or hotel sector, with a focus on multi-site operations.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with budgeting, planning, and execution of technical projects.
  • Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing and developing teams across diverse locations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and technical management software.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch; German skills are highly beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
