About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Conversion Specialist to join our team at dé VakantieDiscounter, the leading online travel agency in the Benelux. As a Conversion Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our customer journey on our website, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, analyze, and optimize the customer journey on our website, collaborating with various colleagues, including Product Owners, UX Designers, Developers, and Data Analysts.
  • Maintain our tracking framework, creating implementation plans to track functionality with Google Analytics, ensuring we measure what matters.
  • Further automate our experimentation capabilities, aiming for product development teams to execute A/B tests autonomously.
  • Provide actionable insights through qualitative and quantitative research, understanding customer behavior and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work strategically with our Product Owner to identify valuable improvements and monitor ongoing results.
  • Translate insights into hypotheses and craft experiments in collaboration with Product Owners and UX Designers.
  • Document and share findings with stakeholders, advocating a strong agile mindset within the team and wider organization.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Related degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Web Analytics, Product Analytics, Conversion Rate Optimization, and Usability principles.
  • Experience with tools and languages such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, VWO, Optimizely, SQL, and Google BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of statistics.
  • Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies.
  • A self-starter with a commercial and data-driven mindset.
