Business Control Director

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our Finance Team as a Business Control Manager. As a key player in our organization, you will drive operational excellence and strategic financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the Business Control and Contract Management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee and drive all FP&A cycles, including month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting, along with senior management reporting.
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to ensure business profitability and stability.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and IFRS.
- Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in all finance-related areas.
- Start your day with a team stand-up meeting to touch base and set priorities.
- Collaborate with the Operations Director on profitability analyses and recommendations.
- Update call with a commercial team on a current deal in important sales phase.
- Liaise with the CFO on key customer matters.
- Conduct team meeting with Business Control in view of month-end close progress and open topics.
- Review the Sales Commission Realization Report with one of the Business Controller.
- University-level education in economics or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to grow and manage a diverse team.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic insight, and a vision for leveraging big data and Power BI.
- Proficient in both Dutch and English.
- Ability to switch between topics and stakeholders seamlessly, with a hands-on, pragmatic attitude.
