Job Title: Manager and Assistant Manager (Marketing and Branding)

The Communications and Public Affairs Office (CPAO) of the Registry of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) is seeking talented candidates to join its team as Manager and Assistant Manager (Marketing and Branding). The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to strengthen the University's brand and visibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance the University's brand and reputation.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor promotional campaigns to evaluate their effectiveness and make improvements.
  • Lead content development projects for multiple channels, including digital platforms and printed communication materials.
  • Coordinate project schedules, manage procurement processes, and commission third-party service providers for various University initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends, competitors, and campaign effectiveness to provide insights on new and effective promotional strategies.
  • Serve as an internal brand custodian for brand or sub-brand applications in various contexts.
Requirements:
  • A good University degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant discipline.
  • At least eight years' experience in brand-building, events, or digital marketing, corporate communications for consideration of appointment as Manager; at least five years' experience for consideration of appointment as Assistant Manager.
  • An excellent command of English and Chinese.
  • A good command of PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills to drive marketing results, transforming data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • The ability to manage fast-moving projects and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams in a complex environment.
  • A willingness to work outside regular working hours and on duty roster.
Compensation and Benefits:

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
