Sensata Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a team of employees to take preventative measures and create estimations regarding the potential future of the company's finances based on research and data findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position.
  • Utilize historical data and work with all levels of the business to understand needs to accurately forecast future financial position.
  • Develop, update, and manage financial forecasting models and regularly and effectively communicate changes, recommendations, and issues to senior management as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain various monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ad hoc reports for management review and use, and assist with various reconciliations as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of forecast outputs and inputs, processes, quantitative or qualitative models, meetings, approvals, or other items, as needed, for compliance or governance.
  • Recruit, train, develop, coach, and manage team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met.
Requirements
  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
  • Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation.
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Power BI experience is desirable.
  • B2B (vehicle industry and/or industrial manufacturing) experience would be a plus.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience working with ERP and Reporting tools such as Oracle.
  • Previous management experience is required.
  • Cross-cultural and global management experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven success supporting business unit leadership utilizing strong analytical forecasting skills.
  • Support efforts around quarterly Board of Directors Meetings and Company's Earnings Release providing market and revenue performance analytics is expected.
