Role Overview: The Network Pricing Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing Samskip's profitability through effective pricing strategies. This position is essential for managing and refining pricing approaches across various channels, business models, market segments, and pricing structures. The role demands strong coordination skills, a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, and insightful awareness of customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete tender process management.
  • Optimize network opportunities for tender submissions.
  • Manage pricing processes and lead transformation initiatives.
  • Implement best practices in pricing and provide necessary training.
  • Maintain standard cost assumptions effectively.
  • Administer monthly energy surcharges.

Specific Duties:

  • Lead and coordinate customer tender processes, collaborating with stakeholders from various departments.
  • Identify and implement enhancements in the tender process.
  • Maximize network opportunities for tenders that involve multiple trades.
  • Work closely with senior management to establish pricing objectives aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Ensure that Samskip's terms and conditions are consistent with our pricing strategy.
  • Coordinate pricing processes across different trades.
  • Analyze pricing data and performance metrics to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Promote pricing best practices throughout the organization and identify training needs for pricing analysts.
  • Manage and communicate monthly energy surcharges effectively.
  • Lead and develop a small team of tender analysts to ensure timely responses to all tenders.
