Role Overview:

The role of the Network Pricing Manager is essential for enhancing Samskip's profitability through effective pricing strategies. This position involves managing and refining pricing methodologies across various channels, business models, market segments, and pricing structures. A strong grasp of market dynamics and customer insights is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete tender management process.
  • Optimize network opportunities for tender submissions.
  • Manage pricing processes and lead transformation initiatives.
  • Implement best practices in pricing and conduct training sessions.
  • Maintain standard cost assumptions.
  • Administer monthly energy surcharge evaluations.

Specific Duties:

  • Facilitate and drive customer tender processes, collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments.
  • Identify and implement enhancements in the tender management process.
  • Maximize network opportunities for tenders that involve multiple trades.
  • Work closely with senior management to establish pricing objectives that align with the overall corporate strategy.
  • Ensure that pricing strategies are accurately reflected in Samskip's terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate pricing processes and transformation needs across different trades.
  • Analyze pricing data and performance metrics to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Promote pricing best practices throughout the organization and identify training requirements for pricing analysts.
  • Manage and communicate monthly energy surcharges effectively.
  • Lead and develop a small team of tender analysts to ensure prompt and comprehensive responses to tenders.
