Role Overview:

The role of Network Pricing Manager is crucial for enhancing Samskip's profitability through effective pricing strategies. This position will focus on managing and refining pricing approaches across various channels, business offerings, market segments, and pricing models. It demands strong coordination skills, a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, and insightful awareness of customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete tender process management.
  • Optimize network opportunities for tender submissions.
  • Manage pricing processes and transformations.
  • Implement pricing best practices and conduct training sessions.
  • Administer standard cost assumptions.
  • Manage monthly energy surcharge assessments.

Specific Duties:

  • Lead and coordinate customer tender processes, collaborating with key stakeholders from various departments.
  • Identify and implement enhancements in the tender process from start to finish.
  • Maximize network opportunities for tenders that involve multiple trades.
  • Work alongside senior management to establish pricing goals and objectives that align with the overall business strategy, ensuring precise product pricing.
  • Ensure that Samskip's terms and conditions are in line with our pricing strategy and objectives.
  • Coordinate pricing processes and transformation needs across trades.
  • Analyze pricing data and performance metrics to uncover areas for improvement.
  • Promote pricing best practices throughout Samskip, identifying training needs for pricing analysts.
  • Manage and communicate monthly energy surcharges to stakeholders.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a small team of tender analysts to ensure timely and effective responses to all tenders.
