Job Summary


As a Platform Trading Manager at Adidas, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our live partner businesses within Gated Outlet accounts and other selected marketplaces in Europe. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the Partner Program platform proposition in Europe for respective accounts, including ranging strategy, forecasting consolidation, reporting, and active in-season management.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing the Partner Program platform proposition in Europe for respective accounts, including ranging strategy, forecasting consolidation, reporting, and active in-season management.
  • Defining the account strategy for current and future Partner Program accounts under your responsibility in close alignment with Pillar lead.
  • Supporting the integration of new strategic accounts in close collaboration with the Business Development team.
  • Representing assigned accounts internally towards all functions, ensuring aligned and effective collaboration across the end-to-end Platform Trading process.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include executing the account strategy for respective Partner Program accounts under your responsibility in close alignment with Platform Trading Director.
  • Working closely with the Factory Outlet Buying and Assortment Planning teams to ensure volume forecast provision and range selection of the most relevant products for Gated Outlet partners.
  • Collaborating with Wholesale Clearance teams to execute x-channel integrated strategy for defined Gated Outlet accounts.
  • Driving awareness and understanding of Partner Program Gated Outlet proposition among key stakeholders, including Factory Outlet, Business Units, Excess Inventory Management teams.
  • Representing assigned accounts internally towards all functions, ensuring aligned and effective collaboration across the end-to-end Platform Trading process.
  • Driving in-season management and day-to-day operations of all live accounts under your responsibility, including discount and pricing decisions.
  • Supporting business planning and financial forecasting process for live Partner Program accounts under your responsibility.
  • Identifying and chasing growth opportunities in Outlet and Clearance ecosystem through Partner Program.
  • Proactively managing all business KPIs linked to order fulfillment and inventory management, e.g., Availability rate, net sales, standard margin, Operating Profit, cancellations, etc.
  • Partnering closely with Platform Operations and Business Development teams to facilitate the seamless set up and launch of new account business.

  • Europe Excess Inventory Management.
  • Europe eCom Pricing and Promotions teams.
  • Wholesale Clearance and MSU teams.
  • Europe Wholesale and eCom Finance teams.
  • Global and Market Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) teams.
  • Europe Business Units.
  • Marketplace team and business/technical teams of partner accounts.
  • Europe Supply Chain Management team, IT, Finance, and Legal teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to handle multiple tasks and business partners.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet analyses. Self-motivated and passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving business processes, and solving problems.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to participate and confidently provide quantitative and qualitative input in investment review.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present and map complex business solutions and processes (interest in technical and business eCommerce projects a must).
  • Comfortable working in an international environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience (demonstrated experience in merchandising eCom and retail) alongside account management, business development, or finance is a key requirement.
