Customer Solutions Associate in Freight Logistics

As a Customer Solution Associate in Freight Logistics, you will be part of a culturally diverse and performance-stimulating environment. You will work with a team of experienced colleagues who strive to deliver the best operational service for our customers. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working as the primary contact person for larger clients, handling cross-trade shipments, including air, ocean, RoRo, and project cargo.
- Responsible for the end-to-end customer experience, handling all operational matters, including quoting, procurement, selling, and invoicing on a daily basis.
- Exploring new opportunities with clients, upselling when possible.
- Identifying challenges and finding ways to improve both cost and service levels, both internally and externally.
- Own customer escalations, working closely with the Operations Manager.
We are looking for a self-driven individual who can stay calm in a hectic and complex environment. You should be responsible for the service provided and always willing to go the extra mile. Our ideal candidate has:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably with knowledge of multimodal shipments, such as ocean, air, air charter, project, and RoRo cargo.
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written English.
- Fluent French (C1 minimum), as you will work with French clients.
- A collaborative mindset with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Eagerness to be the best in class and part of a winning team.
- Ability to be flexible when needed, as our job is not always 8-16.
