Account Manager

Position Summary

As an Account Manager at Samsung, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and revenue expansion in the Dutch market. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities and maximizing sales figures for assigned product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and new Buying Group customers to drive sales growth and maximize revenue.
  • Negotiate with Forecasting, Terms & Conditions, and Marketing Activities to increase sell-in/sell-out.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to drive business results.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Account Manager.
  • Experience working with senior-level management, both internal and external.
  • Ability to develop a market entry strategy and action plan, working together with product/channel marketeers and supply chain specialists.
  • Solution and technical product knowledge: understanding of solutions and needs.
  • Market knowledge and experience: understands the vertical business drivers, including key behaviors and strategies to engage.
  • Experience driving opportunities, managing a sales pipeline, and exceeding quota within nominated market segments.

  • Expertise in the field of Buying Groups is highly valued for this specific role.
