About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team at the Eindhoven University of Technology. As a PhD researcher, you will be working on the development of ultrafast organic optoelectronic devices, focusing on the theoretical and computational aspects of these devices.

Research Focus

Your research will focus on understanding the underlying quantum mechanical processes that determine the switching speed of organic optoelectronic devices. You will work closely with experimental researchers to develop and apply theoretical models to simulate the behavior of these devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply theoretical models to simulate the behavior of organic optoelectronic devices
  • Collaborate with experimental researchers to design and conduct experiments
  • Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field
  • Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals

Requirements

  • Master's degree in theoretical/computational Physics or Chemistry
  • Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning
  • Research-oriented attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with industrial partners
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level)
