This position is focused on promoting the comprehensive range of Fortinet's offerings, particularly in the realm of SASE/SecOps solutions, infrastructure, and security services. The incumbent will oversee the engagement and cultivation of substantial deals, demonstrating a proven history of selling intricate solutions and services in close collaboration with the local team of Major Account Managers, Channel Managers, and others.
As the market evolves, there will be an increasing number of Fortinet partners and clients transitioning from legacy systems to modern, agile digital environments. To facilitate this shift and ensure a seamless experience for our partners and clients, we seek a Business Development Manager who is adept in both digital and legacy systems.
Essential Qualifications and Expertise
- Experience across diverse sectors with a strong consultancy background preferred.
- Proven success in expanding business within an international IT vendor landscape.
- While experience in large organizations is beneficial for our growth objectives, we prioritize candidates who embody the following skills and attributes essential for a digital-focused BDM role:
- Demonstrated expertise in SASE/SecOps
- Familiarity with contemporary methodologies such as design thinking, agile practices, and lean business models, which are increasingly significant to our partners and clients.
- Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Insight into innovation strategies, understanding how to facilitate innovation tailored to each partner or client, leading to differentiation and market disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive portfolio business plan that outlines a strategy for success and revenue maximization.
- Ensure the highest levels of partner and customer satisfaction are consistently maintained.
- Create account plans that emphasize client relationship development and growth/retention strategies for both existing and new partners/clients.
- Manage and cultivate a sustainable pipeline of new opportunities within both existing and new partner/client bases.
- Meet and exceed established revenue targets.
- Generate actionable quarterly and annual business and activity plans for the designated region or market segment.
- Maintain accurate records of all relevant partner/client information and interactions in Salesforce.
- Communicate Fortinet's sales and marketing objectives effectively to all partners and clients.
- Collaborate with third-party advisory organizations and participate in vendor meetings.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
- Draft partner/client alliance or account planning documents for specific services and solutions.
